# Before you stake

**Once claimed, these WOW cannot be staked together with unvested or non-circulating WOW.**

If you wish to Claim ALL of your “Claimable” tokens, you should do so BEFORE you stake your tokens, ensuring that you have sufficient WOW remaining to stake in your desired tier.  

However if you only wish to claim a portion of your tokens you should Stake your tokens FIRST, and THEN Claim any remaining “Claimable” tokens.
